The Analyst of Portfolio Management will assist with the management of a $1.5 billion portfolio of senior housing/medical real estate. He/she will support the portfolio management team with financial modeling, analysis and ongoing due diligence to help monitor and report on performance of the company’s portfolio.
0-4 years of work experience, preferably in acquisitions, asset management, underwriting or investment banking.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field, with an emphasis in real estate preferred.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Previous experience in financial modeling, transaction processing and/or real estate underwriting activities is highly desired.
Healthcare or senior living underwriting experience is preferred.
Previous experience in revenue and expense analysis and preparation of sensitivity analysis.
Strong communication, project management and presentations skills.
Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and work ethic.
Ambitious, forward thinker who is proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Financial modeling and analysis of portfolio performance based on reporting packages delivered by operating partners.
Regular communication with clients to ensure timely and accurate ongoing portfolio reporting and detailed understanding of asset performance.
Assist with lease/loan modifications and new investments within existing portfolio under the guidance of senior leadership.
Prepare required financial reporting for the Chief Financial Officer.
Visit portfolio investment properties and competing properties and assist with market analysis/due diligence.
Consistently organize and prioritize various projects to accurately deliver a high-quality work-product on time.
